Qualifications

• Minimum High School or GED.
• Prior experience in a customer service-related field preferred; health care experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Promptly answer phone calls to schedule appointments and procedures.
• Access scheduling protocols to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate financial expectations to patients (insurance, co-pays, self-pay).
• Collect demographic and financial information during scheduling.
• Enter orders for ancillary services in the system.
• Instruct patients on preparation and restrictions for procedures.
• Assist callers using available resources and staff as needed.
• Pre-register new patients and outreach patients; reschedule as needed.
• Attend daily department huddles and complete clerical tasks.
