Alomere Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative to support clinic reception across lab, imaging and other front-desk functions in Alexandria, MN. The role emphasizes accurate registration, scheduling, and patient flow coordination with strong computer skills.

Responsibilities include verifying demographics and insurance, scheduling appointments, and using EPIC while maintaining patient privacy and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred: prior healthcare experience.
• Medical Secretarial training, medical terminology, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographic and guarantor information.
• Update insurance details and obtain signatures per compliance.
• Scan IDs and insurance cards; collect copays as required.
• Check in and check out patients; follow provider protocols and notes.
• Schedule lab and imaging appointments using EPIC; route orders as needed.
• Manage MyChart requests and direct scheduling; communicate updates to patients.
• Reschedule missed or cancelled appointments per nursing/provider guidance.
• Maintain patient privacy and follow all policies and procedures.
