Pullman Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Registrar to deliver friendly, efficient check-in and registration services. You will collect demographics, verify insurance, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and balance end-of-day deposits in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication, computer skills, and accuracy are essential; prior medical setting experience is a plus. Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and customers.
• Competent in computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
• Strong typing skills/speed.
• Comfort in answering phones and speaking with customers on the phone.
• Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
• Ability to read and write clearly, and understand policies, labels, and written instructions.
• Experience in a medical setting is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Interviews all incoming patients to obtain demographics and verify insurance eligibility.
• Provides appointment scheduling and registration service for patients.
• Supports clinical staff with obtaining patient paperwork and care as needed.
• Performs in-office collection activities; collection of co-pays, writing receipts and balancing end of day deposit.
• Performs scheduling, check-in, check-out, and other processes according to procedures.
• Maintain data entry accuracy for patient data.
