Responsibilities

• Responds to calls from physicians, clinics, patients, and ambulatory services in a courteous manner.
• Registers hospital-wide services into the online registration system.
• Enters demographic and financial data for accurate records.
• Reviews Same Day Surgery procedures for proper authorization and scheduling.
• Keeps informed of scheduling, registration, and implants process requirements.
• Advises on insurance requirements and charges; determines if co-payment is due.
• Collaborates with service lines and OR Scheduler for changes or cancellations.
• Cross trains in registration and admitting areas as needed.
• Maintains professional customer service standards and follows policies.
