You will also coordinate with departments to ensure smooth patient flow, schedule appointments, answer calls, and provide friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or certification in a healthcare-related field is highly preferred.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in computer use required; experience with electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient registration including identification and demographic collection.
• Handle co-pay collection, cash reconciliation, and emergency patient arrivals.
• Coordinate with departments for smooth patient flow; manage incoming calls and appointment scheduling; provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
