Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Registration Clerk for day shifts to support the HOPD Registration team across the Deer Valley area in Phoenix. The role includes greeting patients, scheduling, data entry, and maintaining accurate charts and insurance information.

The PRN position requires strong communication, phone etiquette, and coordination with physicians’ offices to ensure a smooth patient flow and timely registrations.

Qualifications

• 1 year, in healthcare related field and knowledge of medical terminology, or experience in scheduling and/or registration in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Contacts/greets and communicates with customers.
• Responsible for answering telephone calls, retrieving and responding to voice mail messages.
• Directs all information to appropriate individual.
• Orients patients to the department with directions and instructions.
• May also perform imaging support duties: receives and transfers incoming calls.
