Job summary

HonorHealth in Scottsdale is seeking a Patient Services Clerk to serve as the first point of contact for customers, assisting with registration, scheduling, and data entry. This role supports the Business Operations department, requires a High School diploma, and 1 year of healthcare experience; the day shift runs between 6am

Qualifications

• 1 year in a healthcare-related field and knowledge of medical terminology, or experience in scheduling/registration in a healthcare setting.
• High school diploma/GED required; preferred experience in patient access, outpatient imaging, or medical scheduling/registration.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers.
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries.
• Register patients and gather necessary information for electronic records.
• Schedule procedures and manage patient appointments and no-shows.
• Maintain patient charts and coordinate with physicians' offices as needed.
