Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking an Access Representative to support patient care by handling registration, data entry, and reception duties in an on-site clinic. Under supervision, you will schedule appointments, collect patient information, maintain confidentiality, and coordinate information with providers and other departments as needed.

Starting wage is $16.00 per hour; prior data entry or customer service experience is a plus; education requirements include a high school

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Associate's degree or business certificate preferred.
• Experience in computer data entry, customer service and medical records preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments; perform check-in/check-out in clinic.
• Enter patient data into systems (registration, medical records, visit creation).
• Communicate with patients about appointments, forms, and documentation.
• Prepare release of information and consent forms; coordinate with other providers.
• Answer phones and act as receptionist for patients, visitors, providers and staff.
• Relay information between providers, patients and staff as a liaison.
• Coordinate scheduling with ancillary departments as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
