Norton Healthcare is seeking an on-site Registration Specialist to support patient intake at our Louisville area facilities. You will enter patient demographics and insurance details, verify information across systems, and manage scheduling for appointments and tests.

You will also collect payments per policy, secure authorizations, handle inbound calls with professionalism, and organize chart documentation to ensure accurate, complete records.

Qualifications

• No experience required; we provide comprehensive on the job training.
• One year in a healthcare setting is desirable.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilités

• Registers patients in computerized systems and collects demographics and insurance information.
• Obtains payment from patients per Norton Healthcare collection policy and verifies entry in all systems.
• Schedules patient appointments, tests, and referrals in the electronic scheduling system.
• Obtains precerts/authorizations for diagnostic tests, admissions, transfers.
• Answers and routes incoming calls with exceptional customer service.
• Files and coordinates patient charts and related correspondence.
