Holy Cross Health is seeking an organized Call Center Representative to support busy physician practices with appointment scheduling and patient intake. The role emphasizes empathy, accuracy, and strong product knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

The position is full-time, day shift, with benefits starting on day one. The candidate will work with EMR systems and healthcare teams to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service.

Formación

• Prior medical appointment scheduling experience required or preferred.
• 1–2 years in a high-volume call center with measurable KPIs.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems (EPIC/NextGen or similar).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient access workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Answer high-volume inbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
• Schedule medical appointments across specialties using EMR systems.
• Register patients with demographics, insurance and coverage verification.
• Verify insurance benefits and document eligibility for accurate billing.
• Maintain call center KPIs (handle time, quality, accuracy, SLA).
• Collaborate with management to support patient needs and scheduling.
