Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians is hiring for a Front Office/Patient Services role in Georgia. The position involves greeting patients, answering the main phone line, triaging inquiries, and scheduling clinic appointments and procedures.

You may support other front office duties as needed by leadership. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in patient-facing roles, preferably in healthcare, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a customer service representative, scheduler, or closely related position, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Telephone, scheduling and physician practice experience preferred.
• NextGen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and callers and provide a positive first impression.
• Answer main practice telephone line and triage calls to the appropriate PHI staff.
• Schedule clinic appointments and ancillary procedures.
• Provide coverage for other Front Office positions as requested by supervisor/manager.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service.
