The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Registration/Billing Associate to obtain and verify patient demographics, financial information and insurance details, ensuring accurate charges and maximal reimbursement. The role includes online verification of third-party payors and documenting data in patient accounts.

You will coordinate with Financial Counselors to arrange assistance when needed, notify staff of critical conditions, and maintain compliance with hospital policies while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; an Associate's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in Registration, Billing, Customer Service, or Managed Care Organization.
• Knowledge of hospital staff rules and infection control policies.
• Proficient with Epic, Passport, OnBase, Midas.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Analyze patient accounts; evaluate financial data for establishment of current accounts and document actions to maximize reimbursement.
• Initiates online verification of third party Insurance Carriers and Plan Administrators to verify patient benefits.
• Coordinate patients in need of financial assistance to pay for present and/or future services to appropriate Financial Counselor.
• Documents appropriate data in account doc and guarantor notes.
• Maintains knowledge of current insurance regulations and requirements and determines coverage as primary/secondary/tertiary.
