Job summary

ECU Health in Roanoke Rapids, NC is seeking a patient registration specialist. You will verify demographics, collect insurance information, and interpret benefits while guiding patients through the enrollment process and related questions.

The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, organization, and multitasking. Relevant healthcare registration or billing experience is preferred. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of Customer Service is required.
• 1 to 2 years of Registration and/or Billing in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication, detail orientation, organization, and multitasking skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate Degree: preferred

• 1 to 2 years of Registration and/or Billing experience within a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication (both written and oral), detail orientation, organization, and multitasking skills required.

Pay Range

$17.00 - $22.86
