Baptist Beaches is hiring a Patient Access Representative II to join our Patient access team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN opportunity.

Responsibilities include registering patients, using multiple systems, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant privacy while supporting access across areas. Candidates should have 1–2 years in customer service, healthcare, and insurance, with a High School diploma.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Customer Service Experience Required.
• 1-2 years Healthcare experience required.
• 1-2 years Insurance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients accurately and efficiently.
• Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces.
• Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas.
• Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters.
• Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.).
• Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO.
• Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members.
• Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms.
• Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
