• Contributes to PAS goals (e.g., collections, palm scanning).
• Understands state and federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA and JCAHO.
• Maintains professional relationships with clinical and non-clinical team members.
• Ensures completion of required patient consent forms and HIPAA privacy.

This is a Fulltime opportunity, Thursday - Saturday, 6:45pm - 7:15am.

Patient Access Representative II - Job Responsibilities

• Registers patients accurately and efficiently
• Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces
• Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas
• Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters
• Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)
• Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
• Maintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members
• Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
• Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
