With 100+ locations and over 400 OB/GYNs and specialists across the country, Women’s Care offers comprehensive patient care in obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, gynecologic pathology, breast surgery, genetic counseling, maternal fetal medicine, laboratory services, and fertility.

This position involves travel between the Tampa and Brandon locations. The Patient Access Representative is the first face our patients see as they enter our clinics. Customer service is a key aspect of this role, which involves collecting information for the registration of new and returning patients. This is a highly engaging role on our team. We work Monday-Friday, with no weekends!

  • Greet all patients and visitors; guide them to appropriate areas as needed.
  • Obtain and confirm patient demographics and update patient profiles.
  • Collect payment and assist patients with minor billing concerns.
  • Scan pertinent information into the EMR system (HIPAA compliance, authorizations, medical records, etc.).
  • Respond to non-medical patient emails and phone calls.
  • Demonstrate and embody the Women’s Care mission and core values.
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferably one year of experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting; OB/GYN experience is a plus.
  • General knowledge of medical terminology is ideal.
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems, eCW preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dependable, reliable, and punctual.
