Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and motivated Patient Access Registration Representative to join the top orthopedic hospital in the nation. This role involves floating between various departments, including Radiology and Physician Practices, under the supervision of a PAS manager.

The main responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service to patients, updating patient information in the EPIC system, verifying patient benefits, triaging incoming calls, and scheduling/rescheduling appointments.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

The ideal candidate must be reliable and motivated, as they will be in a front-line position that plays a crucial role in patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, and the ability to adapt to different work environments is highly valued.

Must Haves:

• 2-3 years of experience working as a patient access specialist or similar role
• Proven professional ability to be patient-facing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• HS Diploma or GED

Plusses:

• Experience with EPIC EMR

Work Details

Position: Patient Access Specialist

Openings: 1

Duration: 3 months (potential to extend but no guarantee)

Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8am – 4pm or 10:00am – 6:00pm as needed (flexibility for both preferred)

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure comfort and proficiency in all areas of responsibility.
