Job summary

Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers is seeking a Patient Access Representative to welcome patients and initiate the administrative steps that support both their clinical care and the financial documentation.

In this role, you will use clerical and computer skills to verify information, interpret medical terminology, and ensure a smooth patient flow from arrival through payment processing with strong communication and customer service abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is necessary.
• Typing, computer entry and other clerical skills and experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of overall patient access/financial service process.

• DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

  • The Patient Access Representative is a unique role within Morris Hospital and Healthcare Centers. The Patient Access Representative welcomes the patient into the care delivery setting and initiates the administrative systems that will lay the groundwork for the patient's clinical care as well as the financial documentation.

    • High school diploma or equivalency is necessary.
    • Typing, computer entry and other clerical skills and experience required.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology.
    • Knowledge of overall patient access/financial service process.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
