Job summary

McLaren is seeking a Patient Access Registrar for the Department: Patient Access (Fenton) in Michigan. This full-time role requires attention to detail to ensure smooth registration and admission processes. You will work with the front-line leadership to support timely patient intake and verify eligibility.

Hours are 6:00am–6:30pm on days, with on-call duties and weekend shifts as needed. Prior experience in healthcare or customer service is preferred, along with familiarity with EMR systems

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Patient Access Registration Front Line leadership team, the Patient Access Registrar is accountable to ensure a smooth timely registration/admission process.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-year experience in a customer service role or health care industry.

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, Cerner, EPIC or other EMR system, Electronic Eligibility System and various websites for third party payers for verification is preferred
• Medical terminology preferred
