Essentia Health is seeking a Registration Specialist to support the patient check-in process at the Duluth Clinic. You will gather demographic information, obtain required signatures and documents, and collect co-payments, while ensuring compliance and accurate data entry.

This full-time, 1.0 FTE position offers day/evening shifts with no call obligation. Prior customer service experience in healthcare is preferred.

Building Location: Building F - Duluth Clinic - 3rd Street Department: 1006160 REGISTRATION - EH SS Job Description:

Responsible to facilitate the patient registration flow, including such activities as point of service patient identification; gathering demographic information; securing financial, third-party, and sponsorship data; obtaining required signatures and documents needed for compliance; and appropriately collecting co-payment and reconciling cash. May also be responsible for pre-registration, scheduling, benefit verification, pre-admission, and ED patient arrivals.

Work Experience: Preferred customer service in a healthcare setting
