Job summary

Valeris is seeking a Patient Navigator to support patients through insurance verification, prior authorizations, and appeals. The role emphasizes personalized support, compliance with HIPAA, and education for patients and healthcare providers.

Travel may be required to support regional client needs, with assignments near Morrisville, NC or Jeffersonville, IN. Responsibilities include case management, benefit investigations, and coordinating with client teams while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in healthcare related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in insurance reimbursement, patient access, direct patient care, or patient education.
• Minimum two years in healthcare access delivery/management preferred.
• Strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and insurance processes.
• Bilingual/multilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for patients, caregivers, and HCPs.
• Provide benefit investigations, prior authorization tracking, and appeal support.
• Educate on access, payer policies, and Valeris programs.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and providers.
• Coordinate with client field teams and follow guidelines.
• Explain benefit options clearly to patients.
