Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Typing speed of 35 wpm or faster.
• Knowledge of medical terminology within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule physician-ordered tests per department guidelines.
• Register patients and educate on required paperwork and insurance.
• Collect copays, deposits and deductibles.
• Explain financial options and direct patients appropriately.
