Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Office of Academic Affairs and Career Development is seeking a Regular, full-time staff member at the Burnet Campus to support patient registration, admissions and scheduling with precise data entry and patient-centered service.

The role also supports Revenue Cycle, Health Information Management and Compliance, ensuring regulatory requirements are met, confidentiality is preserved, and patient safety is prioritized in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service - Provides assistance and services to patients, families, staff and external agencies in the accurate completion of patient registration, admission and scheduling.
• Revenue Cycle Support - Supports the Revenue Cycle, Health Information Management, and Regulatory by ensuring that necessary data and forms are obtained and accurately entered into the system.
• Compliance - Completes and authenticates documents ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies (JCAHO, CMS, ODH).
• Safety - Ensures patient safety by identifying the correct patient and preparing isolation precautions where needed.
• HIPAA/Confidentiality - Maintains confidentiality of patient information at all times.
