Responsibilities

• Register patients at front desk, clinics and ER, verify demographics and insurance in EMR.
• Schedule next appointments for Rural Health and Specialty Clinics.
• Obtain copies of insurance cards, IDs, and verify orders; contact providers for missing info.
• Verify FIN, date of service, location and encounter type for each visit.
• Obtain required signatures and ensure documents are scanned.
• Educate patients on eligibility and collect payments at service time.
• Organize mail and assist with encounter error corrections and daily reports.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per regulations.
