Qualifications

• Previous office/clerical experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in customer service, oral communication, and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and directs them to appropriate areas.
• Interviews patients and collects data, verifies insurance.
• Verifies primary, secondary, and tertiary coverage.
• Determines eligibility and insurance requirements with payor sites.
• Registers patients in KP HealthConnect with accurate data.
• Collects payments and provides receipts, handling deposits as needed.
• Balances cash and reconciles discrepancies daily.
• Answers calls and coordinates with departments and physicians.
