Job summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) seeks a patient registration specialist in the United States. You will perform accurate clinic registration, collect co-pays, verify insurance, and support front-end operations to maximize patient flow and customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret and apply basic financial procedures and regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate clinic registration and related tasks (scheduling, authorization, and insurance verification).
• Collect co-pays/co-insurance at time of service per MUSC policies.
• Correct registration errors to prevent front-end denials and maximize patient flow.
• Provide excellent patient-focused customer service and communicate with service delivery areas.
• Answer phone calls following MUSC protocols.
