Job summary

OSS Health is seeking a Registrar to efficiently process patients in a busy clinical setting. The role requires accurate data entry, insurance verification, and prompt handling of copays within a team-driven environment.

The position is full-time, 38.75 hours per week, with responsibilities including scheduling, patient check-in, and coverage for colleagues across multiple offices as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge and understanding of medical and billing procedures preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume practice.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients/visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
• Register patients for scheduled visits with the provider.
• Ensure all demographic, insurance information, and forms are collected and entered into medical records.
• Scan IDs and insurance cards; verify benefits and eligibility.
• Collect copays and outstanding balances from patients.
• Answer phones promptly and direct calls appropriately.
• Provide coverage for other Registrars during absences.
• Travel to other offices to cover schedules as needed.
• Schedule appointments per provider team in E-superbill.
