Job summary

Responsibilities

• Registers and admits patients; performs financial and medical service functions.
• Interviews patients to initiate accounts.
• Evaluates information to determine service codes, diagnoses, tests and procedures.
• Determines documentation requirements based on indicators.
• Secures information to ensure rapid reimbursement.
• Initiates collection activity for co-pays, deposits and balances.
