Qualifikationen

• Medical terminology (preferred).
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT (preferred).

Aufgaben

• Register, pre-register, schedule appointments, collect demographics and insurance information.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance, deductible, and outstanding balances; daily cash balancing.
• Verify insurance eligibility and coordinate authorizations.
• Explain registration and scheduling processes; answer patient questions.
• Greet patients and introduce staff; provide courteous service.
• Maintain lobby area; handle calls, mail, and other correspondence.
• Maintain, collect, and distribute medical records; prepare chart completions.
• Direct patients to clinics; order supplies; participate in department meetings.
