Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to type 25–30 words per minute and pass a clerical exam.
• After training, must pass internal certification examinations in PAS workflows.
• Previous experience in hospital admissions or physician offices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient and inpatient registration including hospital cashiering and insurance verification.
• Ensure patients meet financial requirements and provide information to hospital users and families.
• Communicate effectively with service areas to maximize patient flow and customer service.
• Cross-functionally perform PAS duties in areas such as registration, insurance verification, and bed control.
