Qualifications

• Past experience in hospital admissions, business office or physician's office preferred.
• After training, pass internal certification examinations for Patient Access Services.

Responsibilities

• The PAS Lead is the pre-supervisory level of the Patient Access Services career path and performs all PAS functions as outlined.
• Assists in the management of operations and staff of the PAS functional areas and prioritizes patient flow.
• Ensures smooth patient flow to service delivery areas and develops policies and procedures for patient information, registration, and check-in.
• Performs quality assurance and process improvement activities and maintains relationships with community providers.
