Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years medical general office experience preferred.
• Bilingual strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview incoming patient or representative and enter information for upcoming appointment.
• Explain hospital regulations, such as payment of accounts and schedule of charges, rights and responsibilities.
• Confirm and verify patient insurance and/or payor source.
• Escort patient or arrange for escort to assigned room.
