Job summary

Banner Health in Peoria, Arizona is seeking a PAS Representative to be the first point of contact at the front desk. You will support patient registration, explain processes, and help ensure a positive patient experience.

You will verify eligibility, obtain authorizations, collect payments, and provide financial counseling. The role covers multiple imaging sites with a day shift, Monday through Friday, across several Banner Imaging locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in patient financial services or insurance processes.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients to the facility and provides a positive first impression.
• Performs pre-registration and verifies eligibility, obtains authorizations.
• Verifies demographics and enters information into the system accurately.
• Collects patient payments and meets collection targets.
• Provides financial counseling and information on Medicaid and help programs.
• Acts as liaison between patient, billing, vendors, and payors.
• Maintains productivity and accurate documentation.
