Responsibilities

• Greet patients per Nemours Standards of Behaviors at each encounter.
• Register and check-in or check-out functions; update demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance and PCP authorization/referral information when required at each encounter.
• Collect copays, coinsurance, and self-pay amounts at time of service.
• Attend daily huddles and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families.
