Job summary

HealthPoint Family Care Inc is seeking a front office registration staff member in Nicholasville, KY. You will assist patients with check-in and scheduling, handling payments and insurance inquiries, while maintaining smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling.

The role is full-time with a Mon-Fri schedule, evenings until 8:30pm some days, and up to 2 Saturdays every 4 weeks until 5:30pm. Sundays off and a comprehensive benefit package are offered to support staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• At least 1 year of medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and accurately registers them.
• Advises patients regarding payment options and insurance eligibility.
• Collects co-payments and provides receipts.
• Submits insurance paperwork to Billing in a timely manner.
• Maintains patient flow and schedules based on appointments.
• Answers phones and routes messages to departments.
• Monitors reminders and confirms appointments as needed.
• Prepares daily deposits and balances cash.
• Handles paperwork for patient visits.
