Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon check-in and verify/update demographic and insurance information.
• Oversee and reconcile financial transactions by recording patient payments within the department’s electronic health record system.
• Answer incoming calls from the main Call Center and convey information; transfer to clinics as needed; respond to voicemails.
• Register Medicaid and commercial insurance plans with patients and confirm information accuracy.
• Create electronic charts with accurate data entry and schedule new patient screening appointments.
• Assist Radiology Coordinator with maintaining appointment schedules and orientations for new patients.
