Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients at check-in and verify/update demographic and insurance info.
• Verify Medicaid coverage using Medicaid portal and complete consent forms.
• Record payments and reconcile cash drawer and batches in the EHR for revenue cycle.
• Answer calls, transfer to clinics/departments and respond to voicemails.
• Register Medicaid and commercial insurance plans with patient dialogue to confirm accuracy.
• Create electronic charts, schedule and confirm new patient screenings.
• Assist Radiology Coordinator with appointment schedules and student rotations.
