Actalent in Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative to serve as the primary contact for patient relations, both in person and by phone. The role emphasizes excellent communication, resolving concerns, and escalating issues when needed.

The position handles check-in/out, co-pays, insurance verification via CS-Link/Epic, and registrations. It requires on-site work in West Hollywood, with a day shift and a temporary contract that may renew.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with medical insurance, referrals, and benefits is required.
• 1 year of outpatient clinic/medical office experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and resolve concerns, escalating as needed.
• Check in/out patients, collect co-pays, provide receipts, and reconcile payments.
• Verify demographics and insurance using CS-Link/Epic.
• Schedule appointments and complete patient registration.
• Process referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
• Handle patient and provider correspondence.
• Explain policies, procedures, and services to patients.
• Maintain workspace per department guidelines.
