Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's in Hospital Administration or equivalent preferred; Associate's or Interpreter preferred.
• Two years of healthcare experience in Patient Access/Registration/Revenue Cycle functions required.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.
• Strong customer service and prior collections or sales experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC and virtual meeting environments (Microsoft Teams, Zoom) desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform admissions activities for pre-admit and face-to-face registration for main Admissions and outpatient areas.
• Obtain financial clearance and determine patient9s correct financial classification; perform insurance verification electronically, telephonically, or via website.
• Secure a medical record number and manage physician selection; resolve privilege or suspension issues.
• Interact with patients, families, and insurers with professionalism and accuracy; assist in account adjustments and reporting.
