Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and timely, collecting required demographic and financial information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain financial requirements.
• Collect patient portions prior to or at service.
• Obtain signatures and scan documents into the electronic patient record.
• Maintain accuracy rate per departmental guidelines and protect patient confidentiality.
• Mentor new associates.
