Job summary

Qualifications

• Interviews patient or representative to obtain and record personal and financial information.
• Notifies appropriate department of patient’s arrival.
• Verifies insurance information with third party payers.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests promptly and courteously.
• Responsible for the receipt of monies and the reconciliation of receipts to the daily deposit.
• Insures that all checks are properly endorsed before routing through the accounting system.
• Responsible for processing credit card transactions and maintaining petty cash.
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
