Responsibilities

• Greets patients professionally and uses triage guidelines to alert clinicians.
• Registers patients and verifies insurance eligibility.
• Collects patient demographics and payment information.
• Performs point of service collections according to policy.
• Notifies triage staff of patient arrival and chief complaint.
• Transfers signed documents and provides copies to patients.
