Qualifications

• Experience in patient registration or front desk roles in healthcare.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and patient intake processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems and EMR/EHR; preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients and visitors in a professional manner.
• Register patients and enter demographic information accurately.
• Verify identity by collecting required information and ID.
• Discuss financial responsibility and available assistance programs.
• Explain consent forms and obtain signatures.
• Distribute and collect admission and registration paperwork.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to services.
• Answer calls and assist with scheduling and inquiries.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Provide excellent service to patients, visitors, and clinical staff.
