Qualifications

• 1 year healthcare/patient access experience preferred, with knowledge of patient registration procedures and documentation, knowledge of health insurance payers, and real-time insurance eligibility verifications.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and verify insurance eligibility.
• Schedule appointments and process medical records.
• Resolve registration or insurance discrepancies.
• Explain financial responsibilities and collect payments at time of service.
• Answer inquiries and route calls; maintain a professional front-office environment.
• Participate in team huddles to meet productivity and quality benchmarks.
