Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Patient Access Associate in Belvidere, IL to ensure complete and accurate medical records, manage patient demographics, insurance coverage and guarantor information, and communicate financial responsibilities to patients. Typical hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm. The role is hourly, with compensation depending on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Good problem solving and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient registrations and ensure accurate demographic, insurance, and guarantor data.
• Clarify services and financial responsibilities for patients both over the phone and in person.
• Provide high-quality patient service to create a positive first impression of OSF HealthCare.
• Navigate multi-payer processes to resolve issues efficiently.
