Providence Urgent Care Midtown-Anchorage is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to be the first contact for patients, delivering exceptional service over the phone and during virtual visits. You will manage front desk tasks, patient registration, insurance billing and payment processing, and cashiering while upholding our mission of compassionate care.

This on-site role requires at least 1 year in healthcare, with some college and EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Some College coursework or training.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front desk, patient registration, insurance billing and payment.
• Handle calls and support the virtual visit platform with high-quality customer service.
• Provide cash handling and cashiering duties as part of payments processing.
• Support and uphold Providence's mission, values, and culture daily.
