Job summary

Riverwood Healthcare Center in Minnesota is seeking a front desk/registrations specialist to manage patient registration, collect demographics and insurance details, verify financial information, and handle co-pays with accuracy.

You will also coordinate with departments to ensure smooth patient flow, schedule appointments, answer calls, and provide friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or certification in a healthcare-related field is highly preferred.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in computer use required; experience with electronic health records is preferred.

Manages incoming calls, appointment scheduling, and ensures excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

What we are looking for:

Minimum:

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or certification in a healthcare-related field is highly preferred.

Preferred:

• Experience using Excellian.
• General medical terminology.
• Insurance verification and/or patients registration experience.
