Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Registers patients for scheduled and unscheduled services in hospital areas.
• Verifies demographics and insurance information with accuracy.
• Verifies insurance coverage and reflects information correctly in the system.
• Produces registration paperwork for distribution to departments.
• Maintains knowledge of registration system operations and policies.
• Explains patient financial liability and assists with program enrollment as needed.
• Assists patients and visitors with wayfinding and questions as required.
• Manages workqueues and follows up on registration actions.
