Job summary

IMCS Group in Minnesota is seeking a Patient Registration Manager to oversee the Patient Registration Department’s operations, planning, organizing, directing and evaluating all activities. The role supports Shared Services in customer registration, and drives Total Quality Management initiatives.

This position requires strong leadership in healthcare settings, familiarity with union environments, and knowledge of medical insurance plans as they relate to medical billing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in health care.
• Supervisory/management experience in a customer-focused registration process at a hospital.
• Experience in complex union environments.
• Experience in medical insurance plans as they relate to medical billing.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate all activities of the Patient Registration Department.
• Assist in oversight of Shared Services responsibilities related to customer registration.
• Identify and implement Total Quality Management initiatives.
• Facilitate compliance with Human Resources processes and programs.
• Manage budgetary resources within financial parameters.
• Develop and implement operational and strategic plans.
