Job summary

You will support the Manager, ensure quality and productivity standards, and coordinate with the Business Office on insurance verification, pre-certification, and patient billing inquiries. Qualifications include a business degree with registration experience or a high school diploma with extensive experience, plus ability to train staff and work independently.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: BS/BA/Associate in Business with 2 years registration or equivalent receivables/management experience, orHS diploma with 5 years registration or 2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to train and direct employees.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of billing, insurance verification, collection procedures, and basic computing.

Responsibilities

• Directs operations of registration activities for multiple patient types and shifts.
• Assist Manager in direction and control of registration functions, operations and personnel.
• Ensure standards for quality and productivity are met.
• Coordinate with Business Office on insurance verification, pre-certification, pre-registration and patient billing inquiries.
